Michael Harrison is a middle-aged man working under the Nova Peace Force as a security guard at the Los Angeles Protection Camp. Though loyal to his position, Mike is sympathetic and does not wish any harm to the Novas.
History[]
Born in Oregon, Mike had a strict father who raised him under only one value: achievement. A successful businessman with a substantial estate and income, he expected no less from his son. Mike, however, did not live up to his expectations. Not strong academically, Mike only got average grades at school, and made little in the way of friends. At some point, he tried out army cadets, but didn't get very far, and his parents eventually pulled him out.
When he graduated from high school, his father refused to pay for university. As such, Mike decided to join the police force. He remained there for over a decade, never advancing in the ranks due to his lack of ambition. Once he realized that he was no longer fit enough to keep up with the rough work he'd been used to, he found employment elsewhere. Over the years, he's worked as security personnel under a variety of institutions across the country, from prisons to private groups to other governmental positions.
With the advent of the Nova Protection Act, he was deployed at the Los Angeles Protection Camp as a security officer.
Personality[]
+ Kindhearted; Mike cares little of his own personal happiness, but has grown to value others. As such, he often gives to or helps others, even if it detracts from his own wellbeing. Strong moral drive.
+ Even-tempered; Rarely allowing any emotion to reveal itself—assuming that there are, in fact, emotions passing through his mind—he doesn't get angry, nor happy. Mike is almost always in control of his emotions, and this allows him to think rationally and act with precision.
– Loyal; Mike has always allowed authority to control him, be it his father, his boss, or the government itself. As such, he will willingly obey orders, even of a somewhat questionable nature. Strong ethical drive.
– Indecisive, worrisome; Constantly considering both the moral and the ethical side of things, he sometimes has difficulty deciding when those two conflict. At such times, he becomes unpredictable, and loses his self-control.

He does not maintain contact with his family, and lives a primarily solitary life. Other relationships to be determined.

He's strong, tough, and has good endurance. However, he not very fast, nor does he have good reflexes. Lots of training with firearms, good aim. Terrible eyesight without his glasses—farsighted.
